Planning Your Custom Build Home
Initial Meeting
We arrange an informal meeting to discuss the outline requirements for your custom build home. We would normally suggest visiting the site to give us an understanding of the landscape and building we would be working with so we can quickly assess any potential obstacles.
Your Goals
An important part of any new custom build project is to fully understand your goals. These may be functional or aspirational and will help us identify innovative opportunities for custom house. This results in ideas that you may not have considered to further enhance the project.
Analyse Plans
From experience, we know what works on paper, doesn’t always work out as well in the real world. We perform an in-depth analysis of the plans for your custom build home drawn up by your architect to ensure the end project is in line with your goals. If you don’t have an architect or technical drawings, we have several firms we can recommend.
Quantity Survey
Before we lay a single brick, we will arrange a quantity survey to outline all costs associated with your project. They will also draw up all required contracts, ensuring a smooth and progressive custom build house with no hidden surprises. This is our way of being 100% transparent with all our costs and breaking them down into segmented build costs.

Project Management
Emma will be your dedicated project manager throughout the process of your custom build home. With over 10 years experience in the industry, Emma’s focus is ensuring everything runs smoothly and that you are involved throughout the journey from start to finish. Andrew will be your operations contact on-site and will deliver weekly updates to keep you fully informed throughout the project.
Specialist Trades
For all our custom build home projects we have an extensive network of specialist tradespeople and craftsman who produce bespoke and high quality commissions. These include; leadwork and metalwork, woodwork and joinery, glazing and ceramics, roofing and stonework plus modern technology such as lighting, smart homes and sound system installations.
Fixtures & Fittings
Towards the end of the custom build home project comes the small touches that finish the whole project. We work closely with selected bespoke bathroom, kitchen and furniture companies. Emma will work closely with you to ensure your custom build home is finished exactly the way you want it.
Hand Over
The hand over is when we present your new custom home to you and your family. We’ll take you on an in-depth walkthrough to ensure you are fully satisfied with our workmanship. We’ll also demonstrate any systems such as appliances, technology, safety features and security systems.
Maintenance and Warranty
After moving into your new custom build home, you’ll receive a free complimentary 12-month maintenance agreement with a 48 hour response time to resolve any issues that may arise. This service is provided by us, rather than a third-party maintenance company as we feel the best people who resolve issues, are people who are familiar with you and your property.
10 Year Warranty (new build homes only)
We work closely with our warranty company to complete a full in-depth handover so they understand all build plans and know the techniques materials and used. This helps them to service any warranty issues further down the line quickly and to your satisfaction.
